Trakio Teleprompter is a browser-based teleprompter extension that allows users to paste a script, adjust reading speed, font size, line height, margin, and use a clean teleprompter view for reading scripts smoothly.

We designed this extension to work locally inside the user’s browser. We do not collect, sell, share, transfer, or transmit personal data to any external server.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Trakio Teleprompter does not collect any of the following types of user data:

1. Local Storage Use

Trakio Teleprompter may use the browser’s local storage only to save the user’s script and teleprompter settings inside the browser.

• Mirror mode or display preferences

This information is stored locally on the user’s own device/browser. It is not sent to Trakio Teleprompter, Trakio Digital, or any third-party server.

4. Purpose of Storage Permission

The storage permission is used only to help users keep their saved script and teleprompter preferences when they reopen the extension.

Without local storage, users would need to re-enter their script and adjust settings every time they open the extension.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, transfer, or share user data with third parties.

We do not use user data for advertising, analytics, profiling, creditworthiness checks, or any unrelated purpose.

6. Remote Code

Trakio Teleprompter does not use remote code. All required HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files are included inside the extension package.

The extension does not load external JavaScript files from remote servers.

7. Analytics and Tracking

Trakio Teleprompter does not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking scripts.

We do not track how users browse the web or interact with other websites.

8. User Control

Users can remove locally stored script data and settings by clearing the extension data from their browser or uninstalling the extension.

Because the data is stored locally in the browser, we do not have access to view, edit, or delete it from our side.

9. Children’s Privacy

Trakio Teleprompter does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the extension does not collect or transmit user data, no children’s personal data is collected by this extension.

10. Security

We take privacy seriously by keeping the extension simple and local-first. Since script content and settings are stored locally in the user’s browser and are not transmitted to external servers, the risk of external data exposure is minimized.
